Venice officials reported an average of 75,000 visitors per day in recent months, 10,000 more than the same period in 2023, and it's considering to increase the recently imposed Tourist Tax from €5 to €10. That will generate a nice added tax income to the city, but would it really make life more comfortable for both locals and visitors? I doubt it, so if your cruise start/stop/end in Venice, make sure you are aware of the fact that it will be congested. Need more info? WOW! Disney Cruise Line announced the addition of four more ships, which will join the fleet, between 2027 and 2031! And, if you haven't been following the news from Disney Cruise Line, they already have five ships sailing and four more under construction/design. So, with a fleet carrying a total of 13 ships, Disney Cruise Line, who is considered a premium line, is about to change the game for luxury and family cruises, yet again.

These three cruise lines are ideal for an 'adults-only' voyage. I worked on board several major and luxury cruise lines, including Viking and Celebrity Cruises, and I couldn't agree more with the below. As a former onboard future cruise sales manager, I will emphasize that ship size, guests capacity and guests-to-crew ratio, are of great importance as well to many guests that I have met and booked on future cruises, so for me, smaller ships, like Viking and Crystal Cruises, can offer a more unique, personal and relaxing experience for "adult-only" seekers.
